Job Summary:
A DHLS Professional is responsible for assisting in the assessment, identification, and management of individuals with hearing loss and related disorders. The role involves providing therapeutic support, conducting screenings, maintaining patient records, and working closely with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, healthcare professionals, educators, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic hearing screenings and advanced assessment under professional supervision.
- Assist in the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with hearing loss. Support hearing aid orientation, maintenance, and patient counselling.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records. Educate patients and caregivers regarding communication strategies and hearing conservation.
- Participate in community outreach, awareness programs, and screening camps. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma in Hearing Language & Speech (DHLS) from a recognized institution, with 0-2 years of experience (Fresher's can Also Apply)
- Registration with the relevant professional body, if applicable.
- Knowledge of speech, language, hearing, and communication disorders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate Joiner Preferred.
- Must Know Telugu & English Language (Hindi Optional).
