Key Responsibilities
- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoor items, and regional specialties, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
- Menu Development: Create and update menus, developing new recipes to match restaurant concepts and current food trends.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily operations, manage inventory (spices, ingredients), and place orders.
- Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff in traditional cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to sanitation regulations and health safety standards.
- Service Coordination: Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely food service, especially during busy periods.
