Production – Pouching & Spouting
Reporting To
Pouching & Spouting Machine Operator / Production Supervisor
Experience Required
Minimum 3–5 Years of Experience in Pouch Making, Spout Insertion, and Flexible Packaging Manufacturing Industry.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation Support
- Assist the Machine Operator in setting up and running pouching and spouting machines.
- Load printed rolls, films, spouts, zippers, and other materials as per production requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and ensure continuous production flow.
- Assist during job changeovers and machine setup activities.
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and spout insertion during production.
Production Activities
- Support achievement of daily production targets.
- Ensure correct pouch dimensions, seal strength, and spout positioning.
- Assist in minimizing machine downtime and material wastage.
- Maintain production records and job-related documentation.
Quality Control
- Conduct visual inspections of pouches and spouted products during production.
- Identify defects such as improper sealing, leakage, incorrect dimensions, misaligned spouts, wrinkles, or contamination.
- Segregate defective products and report quality issues immediately.
- Follow approved product specifications and quality standards.
Material Handling
- Arrange and transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials within the production area.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of films, laminates, spouts, and consumables.
- Maintain inventory of production consumables as instructed.
Machine Maintenance
- Assist in routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of machines.
- Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Report any machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements to supervisors.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the production area.
- Comply with company policies, quality systems, and food safety requirements where applicable.
- Ensure safe handling of tools, machines, and production materials.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent.
- Technical training in packaging machinery operations will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of pouch-making and spout insertion processes.
- Understanding of flexible packaging materials and pouch structures.
- Ability to identify common production and quality defects.
- Basic troubleshooting and machine handling skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and production environments.

- Machine uptime and operational support effectiveness.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
