- Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload incoming raw materials (e.g., steel coils, structural members) and outgoing finished products onto/from flatbed trailers, box trucks, and shipping containers.
- Inspect materials and products during loading/unloading for quality, accuracy, and damage. Report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Verify shipping documents, manifest, and Bill of Lading (BOL) against the physical product count and type before loading or after unloading.
- Coordinate with the Production team to stage raw materials for upcoming jobs and remove finished products from the end of the lines.
- Communicate effectively with Truck Drivers and Shipping/Receiving personnel to ensure a smooth and timely turnaround of vehicles.
