Job Summary
We are looking for caring, compassionate, and responsible Child Care Nurses to provide professional nursing care and support for infants, children, and adolescents. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring children's health, assisting with daily care activities, administering medications, and ensuring the safety and well-being of pediatric patients in hospital or home care settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents as per medical requirements.
- Monitor and record vital signs, growth parameters, and overall health status.
- Administer medications, nebulization, feeds, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in feeding, bathing, diaper changing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene of children.
- Monitor children for signs of illness, discomfort, or behavioral changes and report concerns promptly.
- Support children with special needs, developmental delays, or chronic medical conditions.
- Educate and guide parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, hygiene, and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
- Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Respond effectively during medical emergencies and provide first aid when required.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environment that promotes comfort and emotional well-being.
Required Skills
- Strong pediatric nursing and child care knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle children patiently and compassionately.
- Basic emergency response and first-aid skills.
- Good observation and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Eligibility Criteria
- ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification from a recognized institution.
- Freshers and experienced candidates (1–4 years) are eligible to apply.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration preferred.
- Experience in pediatric wards, NICU, PICU, daycare centers, hospitals, or home healthcare will be an added advantage.
