Job Overview:
The Manager, People Systems provides leadership and direction for a team responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and strategic evolution of key People Systems platforms. With expertise in People systems and strong leadership capability, this role oversees a product vertical that may include multiple functional areas (e.g., Workday, Cornerstone SBX, etc.). This leader ensures operational excellence, drives process innovation, manages team capacity, and partners closely with People Team COEs and business leaders to translate strategic needs into scalable system solutions. The Manager serves as both a consultative expert and a people leader—developing talent, managing performance, and fostering an environment grounded in curiosity, agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Lead, coach, and develop team members while driving performance, engagement, and inclusion.
Operational Leadership & Resource Management
Oversee resourcing, operational controls, SLA performance, workflows, budgets, and system initiatives.

Systems Expertise & Product Leadership
Strategic Agility, Continuous Improvement & Decision Making
Drive continuous improvement, problem-solving, and informed decision-making through analytics, innovation, and best practices.

Requirements:
5–6+ years of HR systems experience with advanced depth in Workday.
Prior experience supervising or leading a technical team.
Good consultative, problem‑solving, and analytical capability.
Proven ability to lead change, manage complex projects, and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships across teams and levels.
Preferences:
Experience managing Cornerstone SBX, or a similar enterprise LMS system.
Experience with agile methodologies, or product‑based operating models.
