Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate gold items brought by customers using standard testing methods (touchstone, karat meter, etc.)
Accurately determine purity and weight of gold
Calculate the value based on current market rates
Explain the valuation process clearly to customers
Negotiate and finalize purchase deals professionally
Maintain proper documentation for all transactions
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Handle cash transactions and coordinate with accounts team
Build and maintain good customer relationships
Support branch operations and daily targets
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of gold purity and valuation
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Customer handling and service mindset
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / billing software)
Trustworthy and ethical approach
Qualifications:
Minimum: 12th / Any Degree
Experience in gold appraisal or jewelry field is preferred
Freshers can also apply (training will be provided)
