Job Purpose
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store & Logistics professional to oversee our warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation logistics. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth flow of goods from procurement to final dispatch, maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing operational costs.
Key Responsibilities1. Store & Inventory Management
- Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular physical stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, organizing, labeling, and storing goods securely.
- Min/Max Thresholds: Maintain optimum inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, implementing Just-In-Time (JIT) principles where applicable.
- Material Issuance: Ensure accurate issuance of raw materials or finished goods to production/sales teams based on approved indents/requisitions.
2. Logistics & Transportation
- Dispatch & Delivery: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to customers or project sites.
- Freight & Transporter Coordination: Liaise with transport vendors, logistics service providers (3PL), and courier companies to negotiate competitive freight rates and booking schedules.
- Route & Shipment Tracking: Track live shipments, resolve transit delays or damages proactively, and ensure hassle-free movement.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate logistics and store records, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Delivery Challans (DC), Waybills, Invoices, and stock registers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all warehouse safety measures, compliance standards, and local transportation laws are strictly adhered to.
- Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding inventory movement, stock valuation, and logistics expenses.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: [2 to 5] years of proven experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or logistics operations.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, Inventory Management software, and MS Excel.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
