An IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring that all systems, networks, and software are functioning efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, managing hardware and software installations, and ensuring the security of all IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware systems.
- Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal operation and minimizing downtime.
- Ensure the security of all IT systems by implementing and updating security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus software.
- Backup critical data.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control to ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for IT procedures, network configurations, and system setups.
- Stay up to date with the latest IT trends and technologies to improve the company’s infrastructure.
