Position Overview
As a Sales Intern, you will support the sales and business development team in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company’s freight forwarding services. Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development Support
- Assist the sales team in identifying potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Support lead generation activities through calls, emails, and market research.
- Help maintain and update customer databases and CRM records.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities.
2. Client Coordination
- Communicate with prospective and existing clients under the guidance of senior sales professionals.
- Support client follow-ups and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining positive customer relationships and service quality.
3. Sales Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, and business proposals.
- Assist in preparing quotations and sales-related documentation.
- Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with operations and customer support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support internal teams in resolving customer queries and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of sales and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
