Job DescriptionAbout the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shift Incharge to manage production operations, supervise manpower, and ensure smooth shift functioning while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete production activities during the shift.
- Lead and supervise machine operators and production staff.
- Coordinate with HR for manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch and Utilities teams.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor product quality and minimize production losses.
- Prepare shift rosters and allocate manpower.
- Ensure SOP compliance and maintain documentation.
- Monitor machine performance and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure 5S, housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Train operators on production processes and machine handling.
- Maintain production reports and daily shift records.
- Ensure proper machine startup and shutdown procedures.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain effective communication during shift handovers.
Requirements
- Graduate in a relevant discipline.
- 5–6 years of production experience.
- Experience in manufacturing/FMCG environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Knowledge of production planning and quality systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/EBS software is an advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
