Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of procurement projects by managing supplier relationships and driving project outcomes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Global Procurement, Regional Procurement, Platform & Project teams, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Services), lead supplier contract execution, and monitor project milestones – and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of setting up the full supplier selection process and managing supplier contracts, but also support commodity strategies and build strong supplier relationships.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparing and launching requests for quotations with suppliers
Leading project negotiations
Monitoring procurement project QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical) and legal project evolution
Ensuring work package sheet commitment respect
Preparing business awards
Promoting Alstom’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
Managing contracting activities and supplier contract execution
Coordinating projects with all relevant stakeholders
Ensuring on-time delivery and quality, particularly during the ramp-up phase
Supporting commodity strategy development and implementation
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
Monitoring supplier performance and implementing improvement plans
Assessing and mitigating risks associated with suppliers
Upholding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments

Master’s degree in Engineering or Business
Experience in sourcing and procurement (4-7 years)
Strong understanding of contract management and legal frameworks
Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment

Results-driven with a structured and rigorous approach
International mindset
Fluency in English
Desirable: Master’s in Purchasing or certifications like CPSM/CIPS
