Summary:
The AWS DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and operate the CI/CD, infrastructure, and observability stack supporting cloud-native data and platform products. The role requires hands-on engineering, solution design, and close collaboration with platform, security, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and infrastructure components.
- Automate environment provisioning using IaC and cloud-native orchestration.
- Implement end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks.
- Enable secure, scalable deployment processes across multiple platform products.
- Ensure compliance with AWS security standards and organizational guardrails.
- Provide technical guidance to developers and cross-functional teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must have Skills: AWS core services (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
- CI/CD pipeline development (Bitbucket/Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Docker & Kubernetes fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Shell)
- Databricks DevOps automation
- Snowflake or Reltio CI/CD
- Security automation (IAM policies, secrets mgmt.)
Additional Information:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
- Effective communication across engineering and business teams
