VPMM Group of Institutions is seeking a passionate and creative Assistant Professor in the field of Visual Communication. The ideal candidate will be committed to imparting knowledge in the area of media, design, communication, and technology, fostering a dynamic academic environment for students pursuing careers in visual arts and media production.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Visual Communication, including subjects like Graphic Design, Photography, Digital Media, Film Production, Animation, and Web Design.
- Develop course content, lesson plans, and assignments that align with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Foster interactive and engaging learning experiences through hands-on projects, demonstrations, and industry visits.
- Assess and grade student assignments, projects, and exams while providing constructive feedback.
Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of curriculum and academic programs in Visual Communication.
- Regularly update courses to incorporate emerging trends in visual media, digital technologies, and communication strategies.
Research & Development:
- Conduct research in the field of Visual Communication, including areas such as multimedia, design, advertising, and visual storytelling.
- Publish research papers, case studies, and articles in relevant academic and professional journals.
- Participate in national and international conferences and workshops to stay updated with industry developments.
Student Engagement & Mentorship:
- Provide academic and career guidance to students, helping them explore opportunities in the field of visual communication and media.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and practical training, ensuring that they gain real-world experience in the media and design industry.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, and exhibitions with industry professionals to enhance student learning.
Industry Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain relationships with media houses, advertising agencies, design firms, and other creative industries for student internships, placements, and project collaborations.
- Ensure that students receive exposure to the latest trends, tools, and technologies used in visual communication.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic planning, research initiatives, and the overall development of the department.
- Assist in student admissions, evaluations, and placement processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
