Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Engineering with over 20 years of experience in managing high-rise building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality, safety, cost control, and timely completion of projects while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of high-rise building projects.
- Ensure project completion within budget, quality standards, and timelines.
- Supervise site engineering teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and project stakeholders.
- Review project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
- Prepare project reports and present updates to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction practices and project delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in high-rise residential/commercial construction.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and engineering standards.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Office is preferred.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years in construction, with significant experience in high-rise building projects.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale construction teams and delivering complex projects successfully.
Salary: As per industry standards, based on experience and qualifications.
