1. Production Planning & Control
- Plan daily embroidery production as per the production schedule.
- Allocate jobs to embroidery machines based on capacity and priority.
- Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Sampling, Cutting, and Sewing departments.
- Minimize machine downtime and production delays.
2. Embroidery Operations Management
- Supervise all embroidery activities on the production floor.
- Ensure correct embroidery designs, colors, thread types, and placements.
- Monitor machine efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure smooth workflow and balanced machine loading.
- Control embroidery rejection and rework.
3. Quality Management
- Ensure embroidery quality meets buyer specifications.
- Verify stitch density, design accuracy, thread tension, and placement.
- Conduct in-process inspections and final quality checks.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain quality records and reports.
4. Machine Management
- Monitor operation of embroidery machines (Tajima, Barudan, SWF, Happy, etc.).
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Report machine breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.
- Ensure proper machine settings and calibration.
- Maintain machine utilization records.
5. Team Management
- Supervise embroidery operators, helpers, and technicians.
- Allocate work and monitor operator performance.
- Train operators on quality standards and machine operation.
- Maintain discipline and productivity within the department.
- Conduct skill development and cross-training programs.
6. Material Control
- Monitor embroidery thread consumption.
- Ensure availability of threads, backing paper, needles, and accessories.
- Control wastage and optimize material utilization.
- Maintain inventory records related to embroidery materials.
7. Sampling & Development
- Coordinate embroidery sample development.
- Ensure sample approval before bulk production.
- Work closely with the merchandising and sampling teams.
- Verify embroidery programs and design files before production.
