ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a reputed construction company in Telangana, seeking an experienced General Manager to spearhead high-value projects across Khammam and Mahabubabad districts. This senior leadership role demands proven expertise in temple/heritage construction and high-rise buildings, combined with strong operational and people management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▸ Lead end-to-end execution of temple, heritage, high-rise, roads, and civil building projects.
▸ Plan and control project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple sites.
▸ Oversee site operations — workforce, subcontractors, plant & machinery, and materials.
▸ Ensure compliance with IS codes, safety standards, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
▸ Coordinate with clients, government departments, architects, and structural consultants.
▸ Review and approve drawings, BOQs, work programmes, and method statements.
▸ Drive quality assurance through inspections, audits, and formal documentation.
▸ Present project progress reports to management and client stakeholders.
▸ Mentor and manage a team of site engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
SPECIALIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
⚠ MANDATORY – Candidates without this experience will NOT be considered
★ Temple construction and/or heritage/conservation projects — direct, hands-on site experience is essential.
★ High-rise building construction (must have experience in the execution of Mivan Structures) — structural, finishing, and facade works.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
✔ B.E. / B.Tech – Civil Engineering (mandatory)
✔ M.Tech / MBA Construction Mgmt. (preferred)
Experience
✔ 10–15 years in construction project management
✔ Min. 5 years at GM / DGM / Project Director level
✔ Roads, government infrastructure projects (added advantage)
✔ PWD / CPWD / Telangana dept. experience preferred
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
▸ Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling tools.
▸ AutoCAD and construction drawing interpretation.
▸ Contract management, variation and claim handling expertise.
▸ Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder communication.
▸ Ability to manage multiple project sites simultaneously.
▸ Fluency in Telugu, Hindi and English.
