The Operations Head for our Amusement Park will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the park's daily operations, ensuring an unparalleled guest experience, maintaining the highest safety standards, and driving operational efficiency and profitability. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale entertainment or hospitality venues. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, capable of inspiring a diverse team and navigating the complexities of a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Develop, implement, and oversee all operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure smooth and efficient park operations across all departments including rides, attractions, food & beverage, retail, guest services, and security.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large team of operational managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and outstanding guest service.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction by continuously monitoring guest feedback, implementing service improvements, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Oversee all aspects of safety and risk management, ensuring strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices for amusement park operations.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, control costs, optimize resource allocation, and identify opportunities for revenue generation and profitability enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance departments to ensure integrated park management and strategic alignment.
- Implement and manage emergency response plans and procedures, conducting regular drills and training to ensure preparedness for any unforeseen incidents.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, guest satisfaction, safety, and financial performance, using data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for operational supplies, services, and equipment, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and competitive landscapes to continuously innovate and enhance the park's offerings and operational efficiency.
