Key Responsibilities
1. Distribution Center Operations
· Manage complete warehouse/DC operations including:
o Receiving
o Put-away
o Inventory Storage
o Picking
o Packing
o Dispatch
· Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
· Monitor hourly order flow and workforce deployment.
· Ensure compliance with operational SOPs.
2. Inventory Management
· Maintain inventory accuracy above 99%.
· Conduct cycle counts and stock audits.
· Monitor shrinkage and inventory variance.
· Control expiry and damaged inventory.
· Ensure FEFO/FIFO compliance where applicable.
3. Order Fulfillment
· Achieve SLA for order processing.
· Improve Pick-to-Pack productivity.
· Minimize order cancellations.
· Reduce fulfillment errors.
· Ensure fast vehicle turnaround for dispatch.
4. Team Leadership
· Lead Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leaders, Inventory Controllers, and Associates.
· Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees.
· Conduct daily operational meetings.
· Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline.
· Build high-performance teams.
5. Productivity & Process Improvement
· Implement Lean Warehouse practices.
· Drive 5S implementation.
· Optimize warehouse layout.
· Improve picking routes.
· Reduce operational costs.
· Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Performance Monitoring
Track and improve:
· Order Fill Rate
· On-Time Dispatch
· Inventory Accuracy
· Order Picking Productivity
· Dock-to-Stock Time
· Pick Accuracy
· Packing Accuracy
· Damage Rate
· Shrinkage
· Cost per Order
· Orders per Man Hour (OPMH)
7. Safety & Compliance
· Ensure 100% compliance with safety standards.
· Conduct safety audits.
· Monitor PPE usage.
· Maintain fire safety compliance.
· Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
· Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
8. Technology & Systems
· Manage Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Monitor barcode/RF scanner utilization.
· Ensure accurate system transactions.
· Coordinate with IT for system improvements.
· Utilize dashboards for operational reporting.
9. Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with:
· Procurement
· Supply Planning
· Transportation
· Last Mile Delivery
· Finance
· HR
· Quality
· Security
· Vendors and 3PL partners
10. Cost Management
· Control warehouse operating expenses.
· Optimize manpower utilization.
· Improve asset utilization.
· Reduce overtime.
· Monitor consumables and warehouse operating costs.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
