Role bridges the gap between artistic, luxury spatial design and practical, high-end production engineering. The Senior Designer is tasked with managing the entire lifecycle of custom architectural lighting collections and massive monumental installations.
Key Responsibilities : Concept Development & Research
- Ideation & Sketching: Conceptualize new avant-garde lighting fixtures, home accessories, and large-scale spatial installations through form exploration.
- Trend & Material Mapping: Research global luxury design trends, experimental manufacturing techniques, and unique material blends including glass, brass, silver, and ceramics.
- Visual Storytelling: Build comprehensive mood boards, material swatch portfolios, and narratives that align with the signature, emotionally expressive klove aesthetic.
Technical Execution & Prototyping .
- Technical Soundness: Translate artistic, intangible concepts into structurally viable, accurate, and completely buildable engineering solutions.
- Material Selection & Detailing: Finalize exact material choices, surface finishes, and joinery mechanics to ensure optimal structural integrity and high-end visual impact.
- Vendor & Artisan Coordination: Work hands-on alongside studio founders Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth, master artisans (e.g., handblown glass blowers, metalsmiths), and external fabrication vendors.
Team Leadership & Project Management
- Design Presentations: Formulate and deliver clean, comprehensive technical drawings and client-facing presentations.
- Team Mentorship: Guide, review, and mentor junior and mid-level product designers to ensure consistency across product lines.
- Quality Assurance: Audit sample runs, prototypes, and final productions to ensure they strictly meet the studio's rigid luxury quality benchmarks.
2. Required Skills & Tool Proficiency
Software Requirements :
- Primary 3D Modeling: Rhinoceros 3D
- Rendering & Visualization: KeyShot (Highly preferred for realistic material and lighting finishes)
- 2D Drafting & Presentation: AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Core Qualifications
- Background: A formal degree or certification in Product Design, Industrial Design, Spatial/Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Typically requires 3 to 8 years of proven experience in product design, ideally within the luxury interiors, bespoke furniture, or high-end lighting sectors.
- Artistic Alignment: A keen eye for human proportion, form, and scales, alongside an active interest in Indian art, ancient architecture, and cultural storytellin
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
