Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team at our Bhosari, Pune facility. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about mechanical design and product development. The selected candidate will support product design, drafting, engineering calculations, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Perform basic mechanical design calculations and design validations.
- Assist in product design modifications and continuous product improvements.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to understand technical requirements and provide engineering support.
- Visit customer sites, when required, for measurements, technical discussions, and project assistance.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other internal departments to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
- Maintain and organize design records, drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Sound understanding of mechanical design principles and basic design calculations.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensioning, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
