A Catering Attendant is responsible for assisting with food preparation, setup, service, and cleanup for catering events. The role ensures excellent customer service, food safety, and smooth event operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up buffet stations, dining areas, tables, and catering equipment before events.
- Serve food and beverages to guests professionally and courteously.
- Assist with basic food preparation and presentation.
- Deliver food, beverages, and supplies to event locations.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and temperature standards.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness during events.
- Clean and sanitize utensils, equipment, and work areas after events.
- Pack, transport, and store catering equipment and leftover food properly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Support supervisors with event coordination and customer requests.
