As part of our global growth strategy, we work closely with our strategic partner, Texas Transformers & Equipment (TTE), a USA-based company serving utility, renewable energy, industrial, EPC, and data center customers across North America.
This is primarily a backend international sales and business development role based at our Thane office, and candidates must be willing to work from the Thane location while coordinating closely with the USA-based leadership team and customers. The role involves lead generation, CRM management, market research, customer communication, proposal support, digital marketing coordination, and business development activities for the North American market.|
Key Responsibilities
A. Business Development & Lead Qualification
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across utility, renewable energy, EPC, industrial, OEM, and data center segments.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery and customer needs assessment.
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, developers, engineering firms, and key stakeholders.
- Manage and track the complete business development pipeline using CRM tools.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and segment-wise growth planning.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to support business growth.
- Manage website content, product pages, lead generation forms, and digital branding initiatives.
- Support SEO, SEM, and digital marketing campaigns to increase qualified lead generation.
- Coordinate LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media activities.
- Monitor website analytics, campaign performance, and conversion metrics.
- Develop marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, case studies, capability statements, and promotional videos.
- Support public relations activities, press releases, and industry publications.
C. Customer Onboarding & Project Coordination Support
- Assist operations and engineering teams during customer onboarding.
- Coordinate project communication, document sharing, and customer updates.
- Support order execution by ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal teams.
- Develop customer-facing documentation, FAQs, milestone trackers, and process guides.
D. Events, Industry Outreach & Partnerships
- Coordinate participation in industry events, exhibitions, webinars, and trade shows including IEEE, RE+, DistribuTECH, PowerGen, ELECRAMA, and IEEMA.
- Organize customer visits, factory tours, and technical workshops.
- Develop relationships with channel partners, consultants, representatives, and industry influencers to expand market reach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA in Marketing, Strategy, Business Management, or Technology (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or strategic growth within electrical equipment, power systems, manufacturing, utility, EPC, or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of transformers, switchgear, substations, or related power equipment.
- Experience with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
Working Hours
- 9-hour workday.
- Candidates must be flexible to overlap with US business hours as required for meetings and collaboration with the US-based leadership team.
- Work schedules may be split between India and US time zones to support effective communication and project coordination.
