Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing premium seafood dishes, ensuring exceptional taste, quality, presentation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of seafood dishes including fish, shellfish, prawns, crab, lobster, and regional specialties
- Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and handling of seafood products
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation
- Develop and standardize seafood recipes and menu offerings
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and seafood procurement requirements
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
- Expertise in fish filleting, seafood processing, and coastal cuisine
- Menu planning and food presentation skills
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred
- 3–8 years of experience in seafood cuisine or specialty kitchens
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in coastal cuisine, seafood restaurants, luxury resorts, or fine-dining establishments
- Knowledge of Goan, Coastal Indian, Mediterranean, or Asian seafood preparations
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
