As we expand and open our new store in Siliguri, we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the retail experience and build meaningful customer relationships.
Role Overview
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing the sales team, driving business performance, and delivering a premium customer experience aligned with Savera’s brand philosophy.
We are looking for someone who understands jewellery retail, values customer relationships, and can lead with professionalism, ownership, and calm confidence.
Experience Required: 1-3 years (preferred in lab-grown diamond, diamond or jewellery industry)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales from lab-grown diamond, diamond, jewellery, or luxury retail industry. (mandatory)
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to interact confidently with customers. (mandatory)
- Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage premium clientele and high-value transactions.
- Leadership mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
- Well-groomed, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Ensure customers are greeted warmly and assisted proactively throughout their shopping journey.
- Create an engaging in-store experience that encourages browsing and impulse purchases.
- Understand customer needs and recommend relevant products accordingly.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of customer service even during peak footfall hours and weekends.
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Drive upselling, cross-selling, and repeat customer engagement.
- Monitor store performance metrics such as footfall conversion, average billing value, and fast-moving products.
- Identify customer buying trends and share insights with the management team.
- Ensure promotional campaigns, offers, and in-store activities are executed effectively.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the store team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Train team members on customer handling, product knowledge, sales techniques, and store etiquette.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, task allocation, and shift coordination.
- Maintain team discipline, energy, and productivity in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work culture.
Store Operations
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, billing, and POS operations.
- Ensure the store is visually appealing, well-stocked, organized, and aligned with the brand’s merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock movement and coordinate with vendors or warehouse teams when required.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and smooth functioning of all store operations.
- Handle opening and closing responsibilities, cash management, and operational compliance.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain daily sales reports, stock reports, and operational records.
- Track customer feedback and support resolution of after-sales concerns.
- Coordinate with management regarding store performance, staffing needs, and operational improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and mall operational guidelines.
Work Schedule
- 6-day work week with rotational off.
- Availability during weekends, festivals, and peak sales periods is required.
Compensation
Salary: ₹15,000/month (depending on experience and fit)
Probation Period: 3 months
