Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated VMC & CNC Operator / Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC and VMC machine operation, CNC programming, tooling selection, machine setup, and quality inspection. Candidates with experience in mold, die, precision machining, or production environments are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and VMC machines efficiently and safely.
- Create and modify CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
- Set up machines, fixtures, cutting tools, and work offsets.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Perform first-off inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance and optimize cycle time.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and production records.
- Follow 5S, safety, and company quality procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
- Experience in CNC programming (G-Code & M-Code).
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of tool offsets, work coordinates, and machine setup.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas controllers is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Freshers with strong CNC/VMC training may also apply.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX CAM, SolidCAM, or similar).
- Knowledge of production planning and quality control.
- Experience in precision machining or automotive components.
