Job Title: Team Leader (TL) – State Level Team Management

Job Summary
DGVS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader (TL) to oversee and manage state-level operational teams and program activities. The candidate will be responsible for team coordination, target monitoring, field operations, reporting, stakeholder management, and ensuring smooth execution of organizational programs across the assigned state.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, field management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams and projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage state-level teams to ensure effective implementation of organizational programs and projects
- Supervise district and field teams, ensuring timely achievement of targets and deliverables
- Coordinate with government departments, stakeholders, partners, and community representatives
- Monitor operational performance and provide guidance and support to field staff
- Conduct regular field visits, team meetings, and performance reviews
- Prepare and submit project reports, MIS reports, and progress updates to senior management
- Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and operational transparency
- Assist in recruitment, training, and capacity building of field teams
- Resolve operational challenges and implement corrective action plans
- Ensure quality execution of awareness campaigns, outreach activities, and development programs
- Maintain effective communication between head office and field teams
- Support strategic planning and expansion activities within the assigned state
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Tourism or a related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in team management, tourism, or field program management
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Experience in managing large field teams and multi-location operations preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, reporting, and documentation
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned state
Preferred Skills
- Experience in NGO/social development sector projects
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of government schemes and community development programs
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
