Job Summary
The IT Executive will support the day-to-day IT operations of the resort, ensuring that all IT systems, hardware, software, networks, and user-support services function efficiently. The role involves providing technical support to staff, assisting with PMS and POS systems, maintaining network connectivity, supporting CCTV and access control systems, and ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues.
The IT Executive will work closely with the Assistant IT Manager and other departments to maintain reliable, secure, and uninterrupted IT services across the resort.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level technical support to all departments and staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, scanner, email, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Attend and resolve IT complaints within the required response time.
- Maintain proper records of IT support requests and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the Assistant IT Manager or external service providers.
2. PMS, POS & Hospitality Systems
- Provide technical support for the resort’s Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Assist front office, F&B, accounts, housekeeping, and other departments with system-related issues.
- Coordinate with vendors for PMS/POS troubleshooting, updates, and maintenance.
- Monitor system availability and report recurring technical problems.
- Assist in implementing system updates and new IT applications.
3. Network & Connectivity
- Support daily operation of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and related network equipment.
- Monitor internet and Wi-Fi connectivity across guest and staff areas.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and escalate major network problems.
- Assist in maintaining proper network configuration and security.
- Support the Assistant IT Manager in monitoring bandwidth and network performance.
4. CCTV, Access Control & Security Systems
- Monitor and provide technical support for CCTV systems, access control systems, and related security technology.
- Troubleshoot camera, recording, display, and access-control issues.
- Ensure CCTV recording systems are functioning properly.
- Report system failures or security-related technical issues immediately to the Assistant IT Manager.
- Coordinate with approved vendors for major repairs and maintenance.
5. Data Backup & IT Security
- Assist with routine data backup procedures as instructed by the Assistant IT Manager.
- Ensure computers and systems are protected with approved antivirus and security software.
- Follow company IT security policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, guest, and operational information.
- Immediately report suspected malware, unauthorized access, data loss, or other security incidents.
6. IT Hardware & Asset Management
- Maintain an updated inventory of computers, laptops, printers, networking equipment, software licenses, and other IT assets.
- Assist with installation, configuration, replacement, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and used responsibly.
- Record equipment allocation to employees and departments.
- Report damaged, missing, or faulty IT assets to the Assistant IT Manager.
7. User Support & Staff Assistance
- Assist employees with basic IT-related training and system usage.
- Support new employees with computer setup, email accounts, system access, and required software.
- Assist departments in using IT systems effectively.
- Provide timely and professional technical support to staff.
- Maintain good communication with all departments.
8. Vendor & Maintenance Support
- Coordinate with approved IT vendors and service providers for routine technical support.
- Assist during installation, repair, upgrading, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Follow up on pending technical complaints and service requests.
- Maintain records of vendor visits, repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
9. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily IT support and complaint records.
- Prepare basic IT maintenance and incident reports as required.
- Report recurring system failures, downtime, and unresolved technical issues to the Assistant IT Manager.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT assets, software, passwords/access procedures, and maintenance activities as per company policy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT support or IT operations.
- Hospitality, resort, hotel, healthcare, or service-industry experience will be an advantage.
- Basic to good knowledge of PMS, POS, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic server support.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and handle urgent technical issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to IT issues promptly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, or shifts when required by resort operations.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
