- Network Expansion: Identify, appoint, and manage channel partners, including plywood dealers, distributors, and hardware retailers. [1, 2, 3]
- B2B & Project Sales: Build relationships with builders, contractors, modular furniture manufacturers (OEMs), architects, and interior designers to secure bulk product specifications. [1, 2]
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Field Sales Executives; conduct joint field calls to close high-value accounts. [1, 2]
- Target Achievement: Develop and execute strategic regional sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly volume and revenue targets. [1]
- Financial Management: Drive primary and secondary sales, oversee payment collections, and manage credit cycles to minimize bad debt. [1]
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, product launches, and market trends, while reporting on sales forecasts via MIS reports. [1, 2, 3]
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 4 to 8+ years of B2B sales experience in plywood, laminates, MDF, or allied building materials.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; or equivalent business degree is a strong advantage.
- Network: An existing, active network of channel partners, dealers, and key specifiers in the assigned territory.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, team leadership, and communication skills, alongside a high willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
