A hotel housekeeper ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, sanitary, and welcoming. They handle deep cleaning, change linens, replenish supplies, and report maintenance issues. This physically demanding role requires stamina, an eye for detail, and excellent time management.
Key Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning: Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors, furniture, and fixtures. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, and mirrors.
- Linen & Bedding: Strip and make beds with fresh linens, and replace used towels. Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Restocking: Replenish guestroom amenities (e.g., soap, shampoo, lotion, coffee, and tissue) and restock the complimentary minibar.
- Public Spaces: Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and public restrooms.
- Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues (e.g., burnt-out light bulbs, leaky faucets) and safety hazards to management.
- Lost & Found: Follow established hotel protocols for retrieving, logging, and returning items left behind by guests.
- Supply Management: Maintain housekeeping carts and supply closets, ensuring they are properly stocked and organized.
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
