About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to oversee the organization's direct and indirect tax compliance, tax planning, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliances, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and file GST, TDS, and income tax returns within prescribed timelines.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, and departmental queries.
- Reconcile tax ledgers with financial records and ensure accuracy in tax accounting.
- Review vendor and customer transactions for GST and TDS compliance.
- Support tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for tax optimization while ensuring compliance.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and evaluate their impact on the business.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Prepare tax-related MIS reports and provide management with insights on tax positions and compliance status.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax-related matters.
- Assist in process improvements and implementation of tax compliance controls.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable Indian tax laws.
- Experience in handling tax audits, assessments, and notices.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Eligibility Criteria
- CA Inter qualification is mandatory.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in taxation.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industries will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel is preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
