Position
HVAC Engineer – Facility Management
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Salary will be based on qualification, experience and technical skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC maintenance, preferably in IT parks, commercial buildings, data centres or large facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in the Zoho facility.
- Monitor and maintain VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, Package Units, Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers and ventilation systems.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Monitor temperature, pressure, current, voltage, refrigerant parameters and other operating conditions.
- Attend HVAC breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
- Identify faults and coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for major repairs.
- Maintain daily equipment readings, logbooks, checklists and preventive maintenance records.
- Ensure proper implementation of PPM schedules and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy saving.
- Coordinate with the facility, electrical, BMS and other engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with EHS and site safety procedures.
- Prepare maintenance reports and update the CMMS/BMS system as required.
- Ensure HVAC equipment availability and maintain the required service levels.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of VRF/VRV and AHU systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of refrigeration cycle and refrigerant charging.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of BMS operation and monitoring will be an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to coordinate with technicians, vendors and client representatives.
