We are looking for a skilled Press Shop Supervisor with 2–3 years of experience in sheet metal operations to lead and manage our press shop team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily press shop activities, ensure production targets are met, maintain high quality standards, and enforce safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide press operators and technicians to ensure smooth production.
- Monitor and maintain press machines, troubleshoot minor issues, and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all sheet metal components meet quality specifications and production schedules.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and compliance with industry standards.
- Train team members on best practices and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a sheet metal press shop, preferably with supervisory exposure.
- Strong knowledge of press operations, dies, and sheet metal forming processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality standards is a plus.
