We are looking for an experienced Sofa Supervisor to manage sofa manufacturing operations in our production unit. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, managing manpower, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise sofa manufacturing processes including frame assembly, foam fitting, upholstery, stitching, and finishing
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per planning schedule
- Manage carpenters, upholsterers, tailors, helpers, and production staff
- Monitor product quality, finishing, and material utilization
- Coordinate with stores, planning, and dispatch teams
- Maintain production reports and shop floor discipline
- Reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in sofa or upholstered furniture manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of sofa production and upholstery processes
- Team handling and production coordination skills
- Ability to read production drawings and maintain quality standards
- Knowledge of material utilization and shop floor management
Qualification
Diploma / ITI / Graduate preferred
