We are looking for an experienced Assistant Program Manager to own the student conversion journey from offer acceptance to final enrollment. The role involves building strong relationships with students and parents, understanding their concerns, addressing objections, and driving conversions through a consultative and high-touch approach.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in academic counselling, EdTech sales, admissions, or consultative B2C sales, with a proven ability to influence decision-making and close high-value conversions.
Own the complete post-offer conversion journey, from offer made to final enrollment.
Engage extensively with students and parents to understand their aspirations, concerns, and decision-making factors.
Conduct consultative conversations to communicate program value, outcomes, and career opportunities.
Handle objections around fees, career prospects, program fit, timelines, and competing offers.
Build trust and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and their families.
Drive conversions through structured follow-ups, personalized counselling, and effective stakeholder management.
Maintain accurate records of the admissions funnel and ensure timely movement of candidates through each stage.
Collaborate with admissions, academic, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
Consistently achieve enrollment and conversion targets while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
Identify conversion bottlenecks and contribute to improving the overall admissions process.
5+ years of experience in academic counselling, EdTech sales, admissions, student recruitment, or consultative B2C sales.
Experience in roles such as Academic Counsellor, Admissions Manager, Senior Counsellor, Head of Admissions, or similar.
Strong exposure to parent-led or family-influenced decision-making processes is highly preferred.
Candidates from premium education institutions, EdTech companies, or education-focused sales environments will be preferred.
Open to candidates from other industries with strong experience in high-ticket, consultative B2C sales.
Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong ownership mindset with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding conversion targets.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Ability to manage multiple prospects through a structured sales funnel while maintaining a highly personalized approach.
