Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in project finance to manage financial planning, funding strategies, and financial analysis for large-scale projects. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, financial institutions, and investors to ensure optimal financial structuring and execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Financial Planning & Analysis
· Develop detailed financial models for projects including cash flow projections.
· Conduct feasibility studies and financial viability assessments
· Optimize project budgets, cost estimates, and financial performance
2. Fund Raising & Debt Syndication
· Identify and evaluate funding options (debt, equity, structured finance)
· Lead discussions with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
· Prepare and present project reports, CMA data, and financial proposals
· Manage end-to-end debt syndication process
3. Financial Structuring
· Design optimal capital structure for projects
· Working exposures in LC and BG
· Evaluate financing terms, interest rates, covenants, and repayment schedules
· Ensure compliance with lender requirements and financial closures
4. Stakeholder Management
· Liaise with lenders, investors, consultants, and internal teams
· Coordinate with legal and technical teams for documentation and due diligence
5. Risk Assessment & Compliance
· Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies
· Support audit processes and due diligence reviews
Qualifications:
· Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
· Additional qualifications like MBA (Finance) or CFA will be an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
· Expertise in project finance, infrastructure finance, or corporate finance
· Excellent knowledge of banking processes and financial instruments
· Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling tools
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Preferred Industry Experience:
· IT Infrastructure or EPC companies
