Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities for the manufacturing plant, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and services. The role includes vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and maintaining procurement records using SAP to support smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and general items required for plant operations.
- Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as production, maintenance, quality, and stores for material requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Track purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure timely material availability.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation, vendor records, and purchase reports.
- Monitor and control inventory levels in coordination with the stores department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Support vendor negotiations, cost control, and purchase planning.
- Resolve issues related to material shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays.
Requirements
- Graduate / MBA in Supply Chain / Materials Management / Commerce.
- 3–6 years of experience in purchase or procurement in a manufacturing plant.
- Hands-on experience in SAP for procurement activities.
- Good knowledge of vendor management, purchase processes, and inventory control.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing / medical device / pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of SAP MM module.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement activities efficiently.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
