Role Overview: The Quality Inspector for Electrical Control Panels is responsible for ensuring that all electrical control panels meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role involves detailed inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical control panels to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform functional testing of control panels, including checking wiring, connections, and components.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and work with production teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as IEC, UL, and NEC.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve quality processes and standards.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement in quality control procedures.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during inspections and testing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably in the electrical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control panels, wiring, and components.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (IEC, UL, NEC).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
