Key responsibilities include managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting & tax regulations, developing financial strategies, and optimizing cost management. The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive financial goals and provide strategic decision-making support to senior leadership.
- Preparation & Closing of Monthly closing of books of accounts including MIS, Cash Flow & analysis of monthly financial performance.
- Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Managing all the required financial compliances related to GST, TDS & other statutory requirements.
- Working on new projects covering various financial aspects
- Handle banking relationships and finding improvement opportunities
- Oversee the External /Internal Audit, review and analyze results
- Ensure the compliance/documentation requirement for all laws like Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of Accounting and Financial Processes on new updates
- Responsible for Collections/Accounts receivables.
- Handle complete end to end P2P process, responsible for vendor compliance and drive credit with vendors
- Streamline inventory movement process PAN India, ensure lean inventory management, optimize inventory plans
Qualifications
- Qualified CA with a proven track record of at least 8 years in a financial reporting & management role
- Proficiency in financial accounting & financial planning & analysis.
- Competence in financial & GST reporting, Company performance analysis, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and team management skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and cost optimization
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Problem solving, ownership at work & team management skills is a must.
- Proficiency in financial software (In depth knowledge of Tally is a must) and other tools
- Knowledge & experience of using AI tools for finance, will be a plus.
