Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Quality Executive with 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspection, maintaining quality records, identifying defects, and coordinating with the production team to ensure products meet required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Check product dimensions, specifications, workmanship, and quality as per drawings and standards.
- Identify, record, and report quality defects and non-conformities.
- Maintain daily inspection reports, check sheets, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring defects.
- Ensure adherence to company quality procedures and SOPs.
- Use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring Tape, Gauges, etc.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain proper records of rejected, reworked, and accepted materials/products.
- Support senior quality engineers during audits and inspections.
- Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the production process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication industry.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection and measurement tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Good observation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Candidate should be willing to work for 12-hour shifts.
- Candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Rudrapur, Uttarakhand will be preferred.
