About the Role
IS GOING ONLINE is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Software Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who are eager to build scalable software solutions, learn modern technologies, and work on real-world products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Assist in developing new software features and enhancements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
- Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Learn and adopt new technologies required for ongoing projects.
Required Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in software development.
- Good knowledge of Python programming.
- Understanding of REST API development.
- Familiarity with Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
Good to Have
- Exposure to MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Docker.
- Understanding of Linux environments.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
