The Horticulture Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and maintaining landscaped areas, gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, and irrigation systems. The role ensures healthy plant growth, efficient water management, and high-quality landscape maintenance while leading a team of gardeners and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily horticulture and landscape maintenance activities.
- Plan, install, and maintain seasonal plants, trees, shrubs, lawns, and flower beds.
- Monitor plant health and implement pest, disease, and weed control measures.
- Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems.
- Schedule irrigation based on seasonal requirements, weather conditions, and water conservation practices.
- Identify and repair irrigation leaks, damaged pipelines, valves, sprinklers, pumps, and controllers.
- Ensure proper fertilization, pruning, mulching, mowing, and soil improvement practices.
- Maintain records of irrigation schedules, water consumption, plant inventory, fertilizer application, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate procurement of horticultural materials, irrigation equipment, fertilizers, and pesticides.
- Supervise and train gardeners, irrigation technicians, and contract staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain landscape quality and recommend improvements.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and submit progress reports to management.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
