Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive nursing care to premature, low birth weight, and critically ill newborns
- Monitor vital signs such as heart rate, respiration, temperature, and oxygen levels
- Assist in neonatal resuscitation and emergency procedures
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and feedings as prescribed
- Operate and monitor NICU equipment (ventilators, incubators, CPAP machines)
- Maintain strict infection control and hygiene protocols
- Record and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Support and educate parents regarding newborn care and breastfeeding
- Assist doctors during procedures and rounds
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment in the NICU
