We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in industrial project engineering and execution to support the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation phases of process plant projects.
The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering design, piping systems, industrial equipment, materials, fabrication processes, and installation practices. The engineer will work closely with the internal engineering team, vendors, fabricators, and site teams to ensure that all mechanical components, materials, and installations comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering Review & Technical Coordination: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all mechanical engineering deliverables meet project requirements and specifications. Review and cross-check mechanical drawings, piping layouts, equipment data sheets, and technical specifications.
2. Vendor & Fabrication Coordination: Coordinate with fabricators, equipment vendors, and suppliers during procurement and fabrication stages. Coordinate with fabricators, equipment vendors, and suppliers during procurement and fabrication stages.
3. Quality Assurance & Inspection: Conduct material inspections, dimensional inspections, and quality checks during fabrication and supply stages. Verify material test certificates (MTCs), quality documentation, and compliance records.
4. Site Execution & Installation Supervision: Supervise erection and installation of mechanical equipment, piping systems, and associated structures. Assist in erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including equipment checks, alignment verification, and system readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 4–6 years of experience in industrial project engineering, fabrication supervision, or plant installation.
- Experience in process plants, energy projects, oil & gas, waste-to-energy, hydrogen, or industrial manufacturing projects preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with piping systems, process equipment, fabrication methods, and machining processes.
- Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.).
- Experience in reviewing engineering drawings, P&IDs, piping isometrics, and equipment layouts.
- Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and NDT methods.
- Ability to coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and site contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and technical evaluation skills.
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
