Requirement: - CAD Engineers -2 post
Minimum Qualification / Experience : - Degree in mechanical Engineering - 3 yrs.exp. / Diploma in Mechanical Engg - 2 yrs.
Proficient with solidworks - Sheet metal, Weldment, Assembly, Drafting, BOM.
Basic Knowlwge about Auto cad manditary.
Working experience of detailing of fabrication drawing of process vessel, Sheet metal drawing, structural drawing.
Working experience of preparation of BOM of fabrication drawing
Knowledge of following will have added advantage
Understanding of Various paint shop process, paint shop equipment's, their function, construction.
Understanding of equipment like Blowers/ pumps/valves/chiller/boilers/matl handling system/Pneumatics - its application & design parameters.
Understanding of duct, pipe sizing
Understanding of Air velocities, Cooling & heat load, Power, Structural design caln.
Knowledge of Steel tables, metric measuring standards & Piping standards
Understand process & material flow, P&I, Air-water-fuel handling system & design & detail engineering experience involving Vessels, Tanks, Pumps, blowers, piping, structure, sheet metal, Valves & instrumentation, cabling etc.
Job responsibilities:-
Preparation of Plant layout & its civil foundation drawing & GA's
Preparation of Sheetmetal fabrication detail drawing from GA drawings
Preparation of Structural steel fabrication detail drawing from GA drawings
Preparation of P & I drawings, Piping drawing, preparation of BOM
Preparation of Chemical Process tanks & vessels
Preparation of drawing release schedule & follow it
Detailed drawing checking for accuracy & BOM & issuing it for further checks
Maintain all the files/records related for the smooth functioning of the design process.
Visiting fabrication vendors for ensuring correctness in manufacturing.
Visiting Engg. & Industrial exhibitions, Attending to necessary Training programmes on a continuous basis to improve on knowledge & get latest updates on technological front.
Personally Undertake Inspection & trials of critical fabrication items.
If in doubt - Visit Installation sites & take feedback & implement it as a proactive self learning process.
Aim for "Zero defect" in Fabrication drwgs / Assembly drwgs / Piping drwgs / BOM.
