Arch Recruiters is hiring for one of its esteemed international clients in the outsourced accounting and financial services sector.
We are seeking an experienced Controller with strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, team management, and client advisory. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with QuickBooks Online (QBO), managing accounting teams, and supporting small to mid-sized businesses with their financial processes and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, forecasts, KPIs, ratios, and management reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist clients with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review financial statements and identify discrepancies, reconciliation issues, mapping errors, and process gaps.
- Develop and improve accounting processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support CFOs, CEOs, Accounting Managers, and business owners with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams and reporting managers to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage multiple client accounts while maintaining high service standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders when required.
- Lead, mentor, and manage accounting team members.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing teams of 5+ employees.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
- Experience working with businesses having annual revenues below USD 15 million.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with international clients will be an advantage.
