Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining accurate transaction records, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring smooth daily cash operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer payments through cash, card, UPI, and other approved payment methods.
- Generate invoices, receipts, and payment acknowledgements accurately.
- Maintain daily cash collections and prepare cash reports.
- Reconcile cash and payment transactions at the end of each shift.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and Sales teams regarding customer payments and documentation.
- Handle customer queries related to billing and payments professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and supporting documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in the automobile, retail, or service industry.
- Basic knowledge of billing procedures and cash handling.
- Proficiency in MS Office and billing/accounting software.
- Good numerical and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in an automobile dealership.
- Familiarity with digital payment systems and POS operations.
- Customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
