Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the clinical biochemistry laboratory operations.
- Validate and interpret biochemistry test results accurately and promptly.
- Ensure quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes are followed as per hospital and accreditation standards.
- Monitor laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with NABL, NABH, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review abnormal test reports and provide clinical correlation when required.
- Coordinate with clinicians and healthcare teams regarding diagnostic investigations and interpretations.
- Monitor reagent utilization, inventory, and laboratory consumables.
- Train, mentor, and supervise laboratory technical staff.
- Maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, and quality records.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MD / DNB / DM / PhD / MSc in Biochemistry (Clinical/Hospital experience preferred as per hospital requirement).
- Relevant experience in hospital laboratory services or diagnostic settings.
- Strong knowledge of clinical biochemistry, laboratory systems, and quality standards.
- Experience in NABL/NABH compliance is preferred.
