Assistant General Manager – HR (AGM HR)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic AGM HR to lead and strengthen the overall Human Resources function of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for manpower planning, talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement, policy implementation, performance management, compliance, and organizational development across all branches and departments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, operational excellence, and the ability to align HR practices with business growth objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
- Support management in organizational planning and workforce development
- Drive HR initiatives to improve productivity and employee retention
Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning
- Lead recruitment for managerial and key operational roles
- Develop hiring plans based on business expansion requirements
- Build strong talent pipelines and recruitment systems
HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and employee records
- Ensure smooth HR operations across branches and departments
- Maintain HR MIS reports and organizational data
Performance Management
- Design and monitor KPI and appraisal systems
- Conduct performance review processes and succession planning
- Work closely with department heads for employee development
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Build a professional and positive work environment
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures
- Organize engagement activities, training programs, and leadership development initiatives
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, and company policies
- Develop and update HR policies and SOPs
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical HR practices
Training & Organizational Development
- Identify skill gaps and arrange training programs
- Strengthen leadership and team management capabilities
- Support branch managers in people management and team performance
Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related specialization
- 7–12 years of HR experience with leadership exposure
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, retail, hospitality, or multi-branch operations preferred
Required Skills
