Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Printing Operator Assistant to support printing machine operations in our flexible packaging manufacturing unit. The candidate will assist the printing operator in machine setup, material handling, ink preparation, quality checking, and maintaining smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Printing Operator in running printing machines efficiently.
- Load and unload printing materials such as PVC, BOPP, PET films, and rolls.
- Help in ink mixing, color matching, and cleaning of printing equipment.
- Monitor print quality and report defects or machine issues immediately.
- Support machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around the production area.
- Pack and label finished materials properly.
- Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions.
- Ensure wastage is minimized during production.
- Assist in routine maintenance and upkeep of machines.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of printing or manufacturing processes preferred.
- Prior experience in printing, packaging, or factory work is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle physical work.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn machine operations and production processes.
- Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of rotogravure or flexible packaging printing is a plus.
- Attention to detail and quality checking ability.
- Basic mechanical understanding.
